THE GREEN HOUSE EFFECT METHOD FOR HAIR

THE GREEN HOUSE EFFECT METHOD FOR HAIR

What is the Green House Effect and what does it do?

The Green House Effect is a system in which you use a plastic shower cap or plastic bag over your hair, then cover the cap up with a scarf. this creates heat and brings steam penetration to the hair roots. The Green House Effect system will stimulate and promote hair growth and maintain hair moisture.

Recommendation:
* Pre-pro: process before you wash your hair. Apply a light coat of coconut oil or Aloe Vera juice to the hair and scalp. massage.
Optional: Leave on hair and scalp for 1 hour.

*Wash your hair once a month with a natural mild shampoo. It is optional to dilute your shampoo with water. In between that time Co Wash (using only conditioner) your hair. Use a conditioner that is p-H balanced. The conditioner will not be harmful to your hair. If your hair feels dry then you should Co Wash more often. Make sure you don't forget to add a two minute protein pack to your regimen at least every other week. This will balance your hair shaft. I recommend a keratin pack such as Aphogee, the Shea Moisture anti-Breakage Masque, or you can use a natural conditioner mixed with one or two eggs.

*After rinsing your hair with water, do a finish rinse with either organic Apple Cider Vinegar or Aloe Vera juice. This will close the hair cuticles.

*You should wear protective or low manipulation hairstyles such as Bantu Knots, twist, braid outs or even a lace front wig often. be creative!

*Do not use heat or avoid it as much as possible. you should air dry instead of blow drying. If you have to use heat be sure you use a heat protection spray or serum. Do not flat iron your hair more than once a month. Wrap it up!

*Dust ends every 3-4 months.

*Do not use products that contain Parabens, Mineral Oil, Synthetic Fragrance, Propylen Glycol, Formaldehyde, Phthalates, PABA, DEA, and Animal Ingredients. These chemicals can create build up and clog your pores. Try to stick to natural products.

*Be gentle on your hair. Finger comb and Do Not use a brush. Slick down your hair with hands. To tame your edges use a natural gel, such as Aloe Vera and Kinky Curly.

*Do Not for get that your hair needs protein. It is important for you to pit moisture and protein back into your hair. Every 8-10 weeks use a protein pack and set underneath a blow dryer until hard. Follow up with a deep conditioner. Do Not sit under a blow dryer if you are using an egg as your protein. You will have scrambled eggs in your hair.

*Eat right and drink lots of water. You should also take a supplements vitamins such as Biotin, Silica, MSN and Vitamin B. Consult your doctor first to make sure your healthy enough.

*Do The Green House effect system at least 3-4 times a week or as often as you can. The more you do it the faster you will get results.

GREEN HOUSE EFFECT

*On damp or dry hair apply only natural products such as Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera Juice. You can mix up your own natural products. Make sure you coat the ends with oil to create a protective barrier against pollution, fabrics, dryness and etc.

Helpful Tip: Some sites have suggested to not coat the scalp due to clogging of the pores, but I suggest that you do. If you suffer with dandruff or lack or moisture throughout the day, the system is meant to combat those issues. The Green House Effect system can eliminate or in some cases completely fix the problem. Listen to your hair. If the scalp is thirsty and unhealthy the hair will not grow.

*Prep hair in a protective style. twist bantu knots, braids and etc.

*Place a plastic shower cap or plastic bag over you hair to lock in the moisture. The heat from your head and steam from the plastic cap creates the Green House Effect. The best time to do the Green House effect is at bedtime.

*Place a scarf over your head and plastic shower cap. Make Sure it fits snug. For best results add another scarf over the first to help produce more heat. (Second scarf is optional)

*In the morning your hair will be damp, so give yourself enough time to let  your hair air dry for (10-15 mins) or blow dry using the cool setting.

Side Note: naturals can finger comb and go. Your hair will dry as the day progresses. relaxers or perm groups can add a natural gel to slick down the sides dried or while still damp.
